Elaphants are a grayish color . They are known for remembering places.If an elephant lives near a certain tree and decides to move with her family they will rember that tree and might decide to come back again. The grandmother of the elephants is the most important. She is old and wise so she knows the place to get the sweetest berries where the yummy salt lick is on the mountains too. Their trunk is like their nose and also their hand! They use it to smell things and to grab their food. If they need to cool off in the hot sun of africa all they need is to suck in some water from their trunk and spray some water all over them. What a way to cool off! These beautiful Elephants also have big floppy ears to help them in shade.
